Pratapgarh police hold preparatory meeting ahead of Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi celebrations

Police authorities in Pratapgarh district convened a preparatory meeting at Lilaapur police station to ensure the upcoming Barawafat festival, also known as Eid-e-Milad-un-Nabi, is celebrated peacefully and harmoniously. The meeting brought together festival organizers, religious leaders, public representatives, village heads, prominent citizens, and DJ operators to coordinate arrangements for the observance.

The consultation was chaired by Inspector-in-Charge Amala Singh under the direction of Pratapgarh Superintendent of Police. During the meeting, all organizers and workers were appealed to celebrate the festival in the traditional manner while maintaining communal harmony and brotherhood. Particular emphasis was placed on preserving the spirit of mutual respect and peaceful coexistence among all communities during the religious occasion.

DJ operators received specific instructions regarding noise regulations and equipment standards. Police directed them to maintain sound levels and DJ equipment height according to prescribed norms. They were explicitly instructed not to broadcast objectionable or controversial songs and content. Instead, authorities appealed for the dissemination of positive messages and songs that promote unity and togetherness among different communities.

Lilaapur police station officials confirmed that necessary security and law-and-order arrangements are being put in place across the area in view of the festival. Police have requested full cooperation from all organizers and concerned individuals to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
