Prajval Shukl wins 1.51 lakh rupees at Ajgara Mahasanvad finale

The three-day Ajgara Mahotsav, held in the historic Ajgara region, concluded late on Thursday night at around 11 o'clock. On the final day of the festival, Prajval Shukl clinched the top prize at the grand finale of 'Ajgara Mahasanvad-The Ajgara Debate', winning a cash award of 1 lakh 51 thousand rupees along with a certificate of appreciation.

In a gesture linking respect for elders with the traditions of Ajgara, the names of the winners of the Mahasanvad were announced from the stage by 85-year-old Ramlalli Singh of the Ajgara-Raniganj area. She declared the names of all three winners of the competition. Organizers' decision to entrust this responsibility to Ramlalli Singh was seen as a mark of honour for the elderly and a connection to Ajgara's heritage.

Following the announcement, Vishwanathganj MLA Jitlal Patel distributed certificates of appreciation and prize money to the winners. Prajval Shukl, who secured first place in the competition, received 1 lakh 51 thousand rupees along with a certificate of appreciation. Yogesh Pratap Singh finished in second place and was awarded 1 lakh 1 thousand rupees. Rajendra Kumar Patel claimed the third position and received 75 thousand rupees along with a certificate of appreciation.

A large number of people were present at the finale of the Ajgara Mahasanvad. Among those attending the programme were Shiv Prakash Mishra Senani, SDM Lalganj, Block Development Officer Laxmanpur, Nirjhar Pratapgarhi, Manoj Mishra, Prashant Singh, Anoop and Sanjeev, along with many others.

Various programmes were organized during the three-day Ajgara Mahotsav held in Pratapgarh. The competition concluded on its final day with the announcement of Mahasanvad winners and the distribution of prizes.
