Police intensify security measures ahead of Krishna Janmashtami at Kunda temple

Police administration has intensified preparations to ensure the upcoming Shri Krishna Janmashtami festival is conducted safely, peacefully, and securely. Inspector General of Police, Prayagraj Range, Ajay Kumar Mishra conducted an inspection of the Jagadguru Kripalu Dham temple premises located in the Kunda police station area on Tuesday, accompanied by Superintendent of Police Pratapgarh Deepak Bhukar and District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey.

During the inspection, officials reviewed the security arrangements in and around the temple premises, devotee movement, crowd control, traffic management, and parking arrangements. Given the anticipated large gatherings of devotees, the team also inspected traffic diversion plans, parking locations, and the entry and exit routes of the temple.

The IG directed the concerned officials to ensure smooth movement of devotees in the temple premises during the festival and to deploy adequate police force. Instructions were issued to maintain special vigilance at crowded locations and to establish effective surveillance systems to handle any emergency situation. Special emphasis was placed on ensuring smooth traffic flow and preventing any inconvenience to devotees.

Present during the inspection were Additional Superintendent of Police (West) Brijnandan Rai, Circle Officer Kunda Shiv Narayan Vais, Circle Officer Traffic Ravindra Pratap, and Officer-in-Charge Kunda Arvind Singh, along with other concerned officers and staff.
