PM Modi will return to France on June 16 and participate in the G7 Summit in Évian on June 17. PM Modi may also meet US President Donald Trump and other world leaders during the summit.

The 'India Innovates' initiative, announced by PM Modi in February 2026, aims to foster collaboration between Indian institutions and global entities. France, a key defense partner of India, has consistently supported India on international platforms, including advocating for India's permanent membership in the UN Security Council and its inclusion in the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG).
