Over 90,000 students have successfully cleared the Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE)-2026, as announced by the Board of Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP) on Thursday. The supplementary exams provided a crucial chance for students who had previously failed or sought to improve their scores, with significant numbers achieving better results.

In the first-year intermediate supplementary exams, 42,379 students passed, marking a pass percentage of 39% out of 1,09,003 candidates who had failed earlier. Additionally, 1,35,435 students out of 2,29,034 candidates who appeared for improvement successfully enhanced their marks. For the second-year intermediate exams, 48,149 students improved their scores out of 91,303 candidates seeking better results. Moreover, 57,327 students, representing a 59% pass rate, cleared the exams after failing the regular ones.

Overall, official data reveals that more than 1.83 lakh students improved their performance, while nearly one lakh students who had previously failed secured another chance to pursue their academic goals. This achievement underscores the impact of the government’s initiative to offer improvement opportunities to both passed and failed students, allowing them to strengthen their academic records and avoid losing an academic year.

Education Minister Nara Lokesh congratulated the successful candidates, praising their determination and hard work. He emphasized the importance of such opportunities in helping students continue their educational journey and build a brighter future. The results reflect the government’s commitment to supporting students in overcoming academic challenges and achieving their goals.
