New jaggery season opens at Muzaffarnagar market with ₹2,100 per quintal rate

Fresh jaggery has begun arriving at the Naveen Mandi market premises in Muzaffarnagar, with the opening rate set at ₹2,100 per quintal, sending a wave of joy through traders, farmers and labourers.

The first sale of the new jaggery crop was made by Rajat Singhal, with Sonu Singhal initiating the transaction that marked the beginning of the season at Naveen Mandi.

A large gathering of traders, farmers and labourers attended the occasion, including Naveen Mandi Vyapar Sangh president Sanjay Mishra, general secretary Anchit Mittal, vice-presidents Manish Chaudhary and Bharat Singhal, along with Kulwant Singh Kakan and Kamruddin.

The arrival of fresh jaggery has injected enthusiasm into commercial activities at Naveen Mandi. There is a wave of happiness among farmers, traders and labourers following the commencement of the new season.

Traders have expressed hope that jaggery arrivals will increase in the coming days, which will give further momentum to business at the market.
