New District In-Charge Awadhesh Chandra Gupta Welcomed At Pratapgarh BJP Office

Newly appointed BJP district in-charge Awadhesh Chandra Gupta was given a grand welcome at the Bharatiya Janata Party district office in Pratapgarh on his first arrival in the district.

Gupta is the newly appointed district in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party, the regional vice-president of the Kashi region, and a former district president of Prayagraj. Party office-bearers and workers welcomed him at the BJP district office on Thursday.

The programme began with garlanding of the portraits of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, followed by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp.

Addressing the gathering, BJP district president Ashish Srivastava said that the first visit of district in-charge Awadhesh Chandra Gupta to the district, on the eve of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan and the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, was an occasion of enthusiasm and energy for party workers.

Srivastava said BJP workers were ready to work with full dedication under Gupta’s guidance to strengthen the organisation, while imbibing the thoughts and principles of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, the proponent of Integral Humanism.

Several leaders present on the stage welcomed the new district in-charge and extended their best wishes to him for his new responsibility. These included MLA Rajendra Maurya, Ashok Mishra, Pawan Gautam, Rajesh Mishra ‘Rajan’, Ajay Verma, former district president K.K. Singh, along with other office-bearers and workers.

Speaking on the occasion, newly appointed district in-charge Awadhesh Chandra Gupta thanked the party workers for the welcome. He said the strength of an organisation lies in its dedicated workers.

Gupta called upon the workers to give priority to the ideology of the organisation and to public service, while working with mutual coordination. He said every worker is the backbone of the organisation and that the party can be made stronger through the collective efforts of all.

He also stressed the need to take Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay’s ideas of Integral Humanism and Antyodaya to every person. He said party workers should reach the last person in society through service-oriented work.

A large number of party leaders, public representatives, mandal presidents, office-bearers of different morchas and party workers were present at the programme.
