At Meenakshi Chowk, illegal encroachments made by shopkeepers were removed under the supervision of City Magistrate Deepak Kumar Pal, who carried out the action along with Municipality Executive Officer Pawan Kumar.
An illegal encroachment was also reported at Machhi Bazaar. According to the information, shopkeepers had occupied newly constructed government drains. The City Magistrate arranged for measurements to be taken at the site.
During the drive, City Magistrate Deepak Kumar Pal warned those involved in illegal encroachments. Municipality Executive Officer Pawan Kumar also sent notices to the encroachers.
Tomorrow, City Magistrate Deepak Kumar Pal will inspect the encroachments that have been removed.
