Morena Police Arrest Three Alleged Criminals, Recover Pistols And Cartridges

Police in Morena have arrested three alleged criminals who were reportedly moving around while allegedly looking for an opportunity to carry out a crime. Three separate country-made pistols and three live cartridges were recovered from their possession.

The police are now questioning the accused. The questioning is aimed at finding out what their intentions were and whether they were preparing for any specific crime. However, the police have not yet disclosed which incident the three were allegedly planning. Details about their suspected plan are expected to emerge only after the interrogation is completed.

The arrests come at a time when crowds increase in markets and at Mata pandals during the festival season. Women visit these pandals and crowded markets for shopping and darshan. In such crowded areas, there is a possibility of incidents such as chain-snatching.

Police suspect that the three men, who were caught carrying weapons, may have been preparing to commit an offence in one of these crowded areas. However, this remains a police suspicion, and the exact nature of the alleged plan has not been established so far.

CSP Kavindra Singh Chauhan said that the police caught the three accused near the SAF Ground. During the search, one country-made pistol was recovered from each of them. A total of three live cartridges were also recovered.

The police are continuing to question all three accused to gather information about their intentions and any possible crime they may have been considering.
