Migrant Worker Dies After Falling From Tractor In Himachal's Ghumarwin Market

A migrant worker died after falling from a tractor onto the road in Ghumarwin market of Bilaspur district, Himachal Pradesh. The incident took place in front of the Punjab National Bank. The deceased was identified as 30-year-old Nand Kishore, a resident of village Sikanderpur in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh.

After the accident, Nand Kishore was taken to Civil Hospital Ghumarwin. Doctors examined him and declared him dead. He had suffered serious injuries to his head after falling from the tractor.

According to a statement given to the police by Arjun, a resident of village Nibadhkhas in Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh, he and other workers were engaged in lenter work under a contractor. After completing their work at Soi (Mahrol), all the workers were travelling on the tractor to return to their quarters in Kandraur.

The tractor was being driven by Bunty Kumar, a resident of village Nibadhkhas in Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh. When the tractor reached the area in front of the Punjab National Bank in Ghumarwin market, Nand Kishore fell from the tractor onto the road.

The fall caused serious injuries to his head. He was immediately taken to Civil Hospital Ghumarwin, where doctors declared him dead after examination.

Following information about the incident, the police started an investigation. A case was registered against tractor driver Bunty Kumar at Ghumarwin police station.

The police took the body into custody and conducted a postmortem at Civil Hospital Ghumarwin. After the postmortem, the body was handed over to the family members.

Bilaspur Superintendent of Police Abhishek Dhiman confirmed the incident. Police said that the case against the driver had been registered at Ghumarwin police station under Sections 281 and 106 of the BNS.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
