The Madhya Pradesh government has carried out another administrative reshuffle, transferring four IAS officers and changing the commissioners of the Bhopal and Jabalpur municipal corporations. The transfer orders were issued on Sunday night.

Under the reshuffle, Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sanskriti Jain has been appointed Deputy Secretary in the Finance Department. She had also been holding the additional charge of Additional Managing Director of Madhya Pradesh Metro Rail Company Limited, Bhopal.

With Sanskriti Jain moving to the Finance Department, the responsibility of Bhopal Municipal Corporation Commissioner has been assigned to Ramprakash. The order marks a change in the leadership of the civic body and assigns him the new responsibility in the city administration.

Agrim Kumar has been transferred from his position as Chief Executive Officer of the Chhindwara District Panchayat and appointed Commissioner of the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation. He will now handle the administrative responsibilities of the Jabalpur civic body.

The reshuffle also includes Anju Arun Kumar. She was working as the Chief Executive Officer of Bhopal Smart City and as Additional Commissioner in the municipal corporation. She has now been posted as Deputy Secretary in the Panchayat and Rural Development Department at the ministry.

The state government’s order has therefore changed the responsibilities of four IAS officers. The appointments cover the Finance Department, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, and the municipal administrations of Bhopal and Jabalpur.

The latest changes have also led to new appointments at both municipal corporations. Ramprakash will take charge in Bhopal, while Agrim Kumar will be responsible for the Jabalpur Municipal Corporation after his transfer from the Chhindwara District Panchayat.

There is also discussion in administrative circles that more transfers could take place in the coming days. According to departmental officials, another list of transfers may be issued as part of the administrative reshuffle in the state.

However, there has been no official announcement yet regarding the proposed additional list of transfers. The government has so far officially issued the order concerning the transfer and new postings of the four IAS officers, including Sanskriti Jain, Anju Arun Kumar, Ramprakash and Agrim Kumar.
