Kanpur Weather Alert: Thunderstorms, Heavy Rain And Lightning Forecast
The Meteorological Department has issued a bad weather forecast for Kanpur, warning of thunderstorms, strong winds and heavy rain.
According to the alert, there is also a strong possibility of lightning along with intense rainfall in the city. In view of the expected weather conditions, the district administration has become alert.
The District Disaster Management Authority has appealed to the people of Kanpur to remain cautious. Residents have been advised to stay in safe places during thunderstorms and rain.
The authority has also appealed to people not to step out of their homes unless it is necessary, and to stay away from electric poles and trees during the bad weather.
