JMS World School Hapur wins four medals at national Kuraash championship

JMS World School Hapur has brought laurels to the institution, the district of Hapur and the state of Uttar Pradesh by winning a total of four medals, including one silver, at the Sub-Junior National Kuraash Championship held at the indoor hall of Guru Nanak Sports Stadium in Ludhiana, Punjab, from 4 to 7 September 2026. The students of the school demonstrated outstanding sporting talent and skill at the national-level competition, illuminating the name of the institution on the national stage.

According to Kuraash coach Prince Yadav of the school, the students competed in various weight categories at the national competition with complete commitment, discipline and confidence, delivering a noteworthy performance that reflected their dedication and preparation.

In Group-1 of the competition, Shayan competing in the 30 kilogram weight category delivered an excellent performance and secured a bronze medal for the school.

In Group-2, Kunal Kumar produced a brilliant performance in the 50 kilogram weight category and clinched the silver medal. Abhishek won a bronze medal in the 30 kilogram weight category, while Pari Yadav delivered an outstanding performance in the above 44 kilogram weight category and secured a bronze medal.
