Indira Gandhi Stadium Dominates Bahraich Taekwondo, Wins 14 Medals Including 11 Gold

Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium, Bahraich, dominated the district-level secondary taekwondo competition held at Vaidya Bhagwandin Balika Inter College, Nanpara, with its players winning 14 medals, including 11 gold and 3 silver.

Players from various schools of the district took part in the competition. Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium, Bahraich, fielded 14 players, and every participant from the stadium returned with a medal. Of them, 11 players won gold medals, while 3 secured silver medals, giving the stadium team a strong overall performance in the event.

The gold medal winners from the stadium were Manya Kaushal, Pushti Kohli, Manvi Singh, Divyanshi Singh, Jay Joshi, Abhiraj, Dilip, Rishi Pandey, Durgeshwar Anand, Tryambakeshwar Anand and Vivek.

The silver medals were won by Alia Parveen, Sana Noor and Shruti Chaurasia.

Naresh Chandra Shah attended the competition as the chief guest. Sports in-charge Pooja Rawat, district sports secretary Vivek Rawat, principal Sumaiya Masood, manager Harishankar Sharma and District School Inspector Sarvadanand were also present, along with other dignitaries.

The role of judges in the competition was performed by national player and national referee Shaurya Pratap Singh, national referee Nityanand Paswan, Jay Joshi and Arham Mirza Abhishek Tripathi. The event at Vaidya Bhagwandin Balika Inter College brought together school-level taekwondo players from across the district, with Indira Gandhi Sports Stadium, Bahraich, emerging as the standout team through its 14-medal haul.
