India Food Expo brings food industry leaders together in Lucknow for innovation talks

The Indian Industries Association (IIA), headquartered in Lucknow, organised the 11th edition of the India Food Expo from 18 to 20 September at Hotel Rigalia Green, Lucknow. The three-day expo brought together exhibitors, investors and promoters connected to the food industry from across the country. Deliberations were held on new technology, information and possibilities related to the food industry and food safety.

At the conclusion of the expo, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak honoured Pawan Sharma, Chairman of the IIA Hapur Chapter, with the Star Chapter Chairman Award for the 2025-26 session. Prior to this, the Union Home Minister had also honoured Pawan Sharma at the annual general meeting of the IIA. Entrepreneurs described this as a matter of pride for the district and congratulated Pawan Sharma and the IIA office-bearers. Pawan Sharma and Aakash Sharma represented the Hapur Chapter at the expo.

The event served as a platform for stakeholders to explore innovations and opportunities in India's growing food sector, with participants engaging on key themes of industrial advancement and food security standards throughout the three-day gathering in the Uttar Pradesh capital.
