Hindu organizations launch campaign for Krishna birthplace liberation in Mathura

Two major Hindu organizations have jointly announced a campaign to demand the liberation of the Shri Krishna birthplace in Mathura and the construction of a grand temple at the site.

The Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha and the Antarrashtriya Sant Mahasabha disclosed their plans during a press conference held in Laxminagar. Office-bearers of both organizations shared details of their upcoming programs and activities aimed at mobilizing Hindu society around the issue.

Speakers at the press conference emphasized that the Shri Krishna birthplace is a central pillar of faith for Hindu society. They announced that a public awareness campaign will be launched to secure its liberation. The speakers also said that efforts will be made to restore major pilgrimage sites across the country to their original form.

The press conference revealed that a Hindu Jan Jagran Yatra will be organized on 27 October 2026. The yatra will commence from Muzaffarnagar and proceed through Meerut, Bulandshahr and various other locations before reaching Mathura. Through this yatra, Hindu society will be made aware of the issues surrounding the liberation of the Shri Krishna birthplace and temple construction. The organizers appealed to as many people as possible to participate in the yatra.

Office-bearers of the Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha and Antarrashtriya Sant Mahasabha stated that efforts for the liberation of the Shri Krishna birthplace will continue at both democratic and legal levels. Office-bearers and workers from both organizations were present at the press conference.

Yogendra Verma, National President of the Hindu Mahasabha, also addressed the gathering.
