Following the severe road accident outside the Sheetla Mata Temple in Gwalior, the administration has initiated a magisterial inquiry into the incident. The inquiry will examine the circumstances of the accident and determine whether any negligence was involved in the arrangements made at the temple route.

Collector Ruchika Chauhan has assigned the responsibility for the inquiry to Additional Collector (ADM) C.B. Prasad. He has been directed to complete the inquiry and submit his report within 7 days.

One of the key questions before the inquiry is who allowed the heavy truck to enter the temple road. The route has been described as restricted or sensitive, making the truck’s entry an important part of the investigation.

The inquiry will also examine the barricading arrangements at the accident site. The administration will review the security arrangements in place and assess the responsibilities of the officers and employees deployed on duty at the time.

The magisterial inquiry will try to establish where the security system failed when the accident occurred. It will also examine who was responsible for the lapse, if any.

After the report is submitted within 7 days, the administration will consider its findings. The conclusions of the inquiry will determine the course of further action in the matter.
