Girl sexually assaulted by doctor relative in Bulandshahr, critical in ICU

A 12th-grade student in Bulandshahr was brutally sexually assaulted by her relative who had promised to drop her to school, leaving her fighting for life in a hospital ICU. The accused, identified as Rizwan, who is said to be a doctor by profession and related to the victim as an uncle, attacked her at the Mid Highway hotel located on NH-34 near Mundakheda Chowk in the Khurja Dehat police station area.

According to reports, the girl had trusted her relative to take her to school that morning. Instead, Rizwan allegedly took her to the hotel where he carried out the horrific assault. The victim suffered severe bleeding and her condition deteriorated rapidly during the ordeal. After the attack, the accused reportedly gave her some medicines, threatened to kill her entire family if she spoke out, and abandoned her at the chowk in a critical state.

The girl is currently battling for her life in the hospital's ICU and medical ward, with doctors working continuously to stabilize her condition. Her parents, who had sent their daughter off to school that morning, are devastated. The father's anguished question resonates with many: if daughters are not safe even with their own relatives, where can they find security?

Circle Officer Shobhit Kumar and a forensic team reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the incident and collected evidence. Following directions from SDM Satyendra Kumar, the administration has sealed the Mid Highway OYO hotel where the crime took place. The accused Rizwan has been arrested in connection with the case.

The victim's family and local residents are demanding strict action, calling for bulldozer action against the accused's illegal properties and assets. They have urged the administration to ensure this is not just a paper exercise but exemplary punishment that prevents such heinous crimes in the future.
