Two sisters from the same family were reportedly bitten by a snake in one night in Nagola Aminpur village under the Bhojpur police station area of Ghaziabad. The family rushed both girls to hospitals after their condition deteriorated. During treatment, nine-year-old Manvi died, while her 14-year-old sister Palak was taken to Meerut Medical College and is now said to be out of danger.
According to the family, the incident came to light around 4 am on the night of 29 September, when Manvi told relatives that a snake had bitten her. The family immediately took her to GS Hospital in Pilkhuwa. As her condition remained serious, doctors referred her to Meerut Medical College.

While the family was taking Manvi for further treatment, they were informed that Palak had also been bitten by a snake. Relatives said Manvi was vomiting yellow fluid, and soon Palak also showed similar symptoms. Panic spread in the family as both sisters became unwell at the same time.
The family then decided to take the sisters to different hospitals. Manvi was taken towards Hapur, while Palak was taken to Meerut Medical College. Deepak, the girls’ father, said he was on the way to Meerut with Palak when relatives called to inform him that Manvi had died. After hearing the news, he returned home midway.
When he reached home, Palak’s condition was also found to be extremely serious. The family then left Manvi at home and again rushed Palak to Meerut Medical College. According to relatives, timely treatment at Meerut Medical College saved Palak’s life. She is currently said to be out of danger and is undergoing treatment.
