Photographs from the celebration show participants dancing together and holding colourful, decorated dandiya sticks. Brightly coloured skirts, saris and draped dupattas feature embroidered borders and patterned fabric, alongside necklaces, earrings and bangles. Pink and orange cloth streamers stretch overhead, while a red, floral-patterned carpet covers the gathering area in the school courtyard. Several participants hold striped dance sticks at waist or chest height.
