Ghaziabad Police Arrest Man Same Day In Vehicle Removal Assault Case

Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram police arrested an accused the same day after a complaint over abuse and assault linked to the removal of a vehicle in the Niti Khand police outpost area.

According to the information, the action was taken by the Indirapuram police station team under the Niti Khand police outpost. Outpost in-charge Yogesh Kumar was credited in the account with acting quickly after the complaint was received.

The complaint was registered on 24 September 2026. On the same day, police arrested the accused, showing what was described as a prompt and professional response by the team.

The complainant, Kartik, gave a written complaint at Indirapuram police station. He alleged that while he was in his Audi car, Rahul Mohan and others abused him in the Niti Khand outpost area, attacked him, assaulted him and threatened to kill him.

After receiving the complaint, the police team immediately registered a case under the relevant sections and began searching for the accused.

The police action led to the arrest of Rahul Mohan the same day. Rahul Mohan is the son of Kailash Mohan, aged around 30 years, and a resident of Ground Floor, Shakti Khand-4, Indirapuram.

Police also seized the Audi car used in the incident from the spot.

During questioning, the accused told police that he was standing near his Audi car with his friend. According to the account, complainant Kartik asked him to move the car, but he refused. The dispute escalated over this issue, and in anger, he assaulted Kartik.

The action by Police Commissionerate Ghaziabad was described as commendable in the source account. The arrest of the accused within a few hours of the complaint being registered was presented as an important step towards justice for the victim.
