Former state official inaugurates running competition, urges youth away from drugs

A running competition was organized on Sunday in Manpur village under the Bisauli assembly constituency in Badaun district, with a prominent former government official inaugurating the event and urging youth to stay away from drugs and focus on sports and education.

The chief guest, Shri Satish Premi, former State Coordinator of the National Scheduled Caste Commission under the Government of India, formally launched the program by cutting the ribbon. Addressing the young participants, he emphasized that sports lead to both physical and mental development and said that youth should stay away from intoxication and concentrate on sports and education.

The competition witnessed the presence of hundreds of villagers and young people. Among those prominently present on the occasion were Shri Hemendra Yadav, Shri Ramjeemal Advocate, Kapil Dev, Abhay Pratap Singh, Yashveer Yadav and Shakir Hussain, along with hundreds of other villagers and youth.

The organizing committee expressed gratitude to all the guests who attended the event. Winners of the running competition were honored and presented with shields in recognition of their performance.
