Firozabad workshop empowers youth with MSME schemes and loans

A special workshop focusing on MSME schemes was organized at Paliwal Hall in Firozabad, attended by District Magistrate Santosh Kumar Sharma and Sadar MLA Manish Asija. The event saw significant participation from local youth and stakeholders. Addressing the gathering, the District Magistrate emphasized the importance of strengthening primary, secondary, and tertiary sectors to achieve Uttar Pradesh's goal of becoming a $1 trillion economy. Highlighting Firozabad’s reputation as the "Glass City" and "Bangle City," he urged young people to shift from being job seekers to job providers, aligning with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Sharma also discussed the government’s “Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana,” calling it a key initiative to support aspiring entrepreneurs. Under this scheme, eligible youth can avail interest-free loans of up to ₹5 lakh without any collateral. He assured attendees that the District Industries Center would ensure the benefits of the scheme reach all eligible applicants.

Sadar MLA Manish Asija, while addressing the workshop, acknowledged the efforts of the district administration and industry department in implementing these schemes. He stressed the critical role of bank managers in facilitating smooth access to loans for young entrepreneurs, urging them to minimize bureaucratic hurdles. Asija expressed confidence that these initiatives would empower the youth of Firozabad, enabling them to become self-reliant and contribute positively to their families and the community.

During the event, beneficiaries of the Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana and Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana were honored. Certificates were awarded to recipients including Yogesh Kumar, Vinay Yadav, Ashish Kumar, and Akanksha Agarwal under the youth entrepreneurship scheme. Similarly, beneficiaries of the Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana, such as Pankaj Kumar, Jagat Singh, Ajay Kant, Rakesh Yadav, and Pramod Kumar, were also recognized. The workshop witnessed the presence of Deputy Commissioner of Industries Sandhya and a large number of entrepreneurs.
