DM and SP inspect EVM warehouse security in Banda ahead of elections

District Magistrate Amit Aseri and Superintendent of Police Palash Bansal conducted an inspection of the EVM-VVPAT warehouse in Banda on Thursday. The senior officials reviewed security arrangements, CCTV surveillance systems, and other logistical measures in place at the facility, issuing necessary directives to concerned officials on the spot.

During the inspection, the duo undertook a comprehensive assessment of the storage facility housing the electronic voting machines and voter verifiable paper audit trail devices. The focus of the visit was to ensure that all security protocols are being strictly followed and that the equipment remains safeguarded under proper monitoring.

The officials examined the functioning of closed-circuit television cameras installed across the warehouse premises to maintain round-the-clock surveillance.
