District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey Visits Chilbila Temple, Buys Toys From Vendors

On the occasion of Sharadiya Navratri, District Magistrate Abhishek Pandey visited the ancient Hanuman Temple in Chilbila with his family on Tuesday, 13 October, and performed darshan and puja. He offered aarti to Hanuman Ji Maharaj, Mata Ji and the Ram Darbar, and sought their blessings.

After this, the District Magistrate visited the cave of Mata Vaishno Devi, where he performed darshan and puja. He bowed before the idol of the goddess made from rajma and peanuts. During the visit, Abhishek Pandey also went to various puja pandals and offered prayers there.

When the District Magistrate reached the ancient Hanuman Temple, the temple committee honoured him by presenting him with an idol of Hanuman Ji Maharaj and draping a chunari around him. On behalf of the temple committee, social worker Roshanlal Umarvaish carried out the honour.

Shani Maharaj, Sonu Maharaj, Suresh Agarwal, Ashish Kumar, Adarsh Kumar, Aman Gupta, Santosh Kumar, Chhedilal, Devanand and Vivek Yadav were present on the occasion. During Navratri, an atmosphere of faith and devotion among devotees prevailed at the temple.

The District Magistrate also bought toys from small vendors who had set up shops outside the temple. Through this purchase, he encouraged the small shopkeepers. The initiative brought happiness among local vendors.

By buying from small shopkeepers during the festival, the District Magistrate sent a message of encouraging local business. His visit with his family to temples and puja pandals during the auspicious Navratri festival, the honour extended to him by the temple committee and his purchase of toys from small vendors became a topic of discussion.
