Chief Minister honors PM Poshan cook Kiran Devi for nutritious meal service

Kiran Devi, a cook working under the PM Poshan Yojana in Sitapur, has been honored by the Chief Minister, bringing pride to the district. The recognition was given to her for her dedicated service in preparing nutritious meals for schoolchildren. Following the Chief Minister's felicitation, a special program was organized at the Collectorate auditorium in Sitapur where other cooks working under the scheme were also honored and presented with cashless healthcare cards.

The event was organized by the district administration to recognize and support the welfare of cooks who prepare meals for children in schools under the PM Poshan Yojana. The distribution of cashless medical cards is expected to provide better healthcare facilities to these cooks and their families, ensuring they have access to medical treatment without financial burden.

The program saw the presence of several dignitaries including Prison State Minister Suresh Rahi, Urban Development State Minister Rakesh Rathore 'Guru', Sitapur Municipal Council President Neha Awasthi, Mandal President Nagar-2 and Teacher MLC Representative Pankaj Pandey, District Magistrate Raja Ganapati R, Chief Development Officer Dr. Diksha Joshi, and District Basic Education Officer Gorakhnath Patel, along with other officials from the education department.

Speakers at the event praised the contribution of the cooks, acknowledging their crucial role in providing nutritious food to schoolchildren. They emphasized that the government's initiative to honor them and provide health security demonstrates sensitivity towards their welfare. It was highlighted that under the Chief Minister's leadership, the state government is continuously working for the honor, security, and welfare of every section of society, and this initiative of recognizing PM Poshan Yojana cooks with cashless medical cards is a significant step in that direction.
