The Akhil Bhartiya Yuva Udyog Vyapar Mandal (registered) has demanded strict action to regulate the operation of e-rickshaws in Chandausi city, saying their improper operation is the main reason behind the city’s biggest problem, traffic jams.
The demand was raised under the leadership of Anuj Varshney ‘Annu’, the organisation’s young city president. A memorandum was submitted to the District Magistrate, while the report also identified the recipient as the CO Traffic.

The memorandum demanded that the entry of e-rickshaws be stopped in all four markets of the city. It also sought that speed limits be fixed for the e-rickshaws operating there.
The organisation further demanded that these e-rickshaws be diverted to a duplicate route through designated cuts. It said the arrangement should be fully implemented during festivals as well.

Sháalam Mansoori, Shan Kumar Sharma, Rajiv Sharma, Bhupendra Sharma, Rahul Vishwas and other traders were present during the submission of the memorandum.
The report was filed by Rajat Malhotra.
