BJP Announces State Organisation In-Charges And Co-In-Charges

The Bharatiya Janata Party has announced new organisational in-charges and co-in-charges for states, assigning responsibilities to several senior leaders across different regions.

In Uttar Pradesh, Vinod Tawde has been appointed as the in-charge. The party has also named four leaders as co-in-charges for the state. They are Jagdish Patel, Medha Kulkarni, Pradeep Verma and Anant Ojha.

Ram Madhav has been given charge of Uttarakhand and Tamil Nadu. Sunil Bansal has been assigned responsibility for West Bengal and Telangana.

Harish Dwivedi has been appointed as the in-charge for Karnataka and Bihar. Smriti Irani has been named the in-charge for Chhattisgarh and Haryana.

Vinay Sahasrabuddhe has been made the in-charge of Delhi BJP. Apart from this, Tarun Chugh has been appointed as the in-charge of Gujarat, while Shrikant Sharma has been given charge of Himachal Pradesh.

The announcement marks a fresh distribution of organisational responsibilities within the BJP at the state level. The party has given key roles to leaders who will oversee organisational coordination in their assigned states and work in connection with upcoming political activities.

These new organisational responsibilities are being seen as important in terms of the party’s coordination in the states and its coming political programmes. The BJP had earlier, in August 2026, also announced its new national team. In that announcement too, several leaders, including Vinod Tawde, Sunil Bansal, Smriti Irani and Harish Dwivedi, were given responsibilities at the national level.
