Bahraich police conduct security review ahead of Kajri Teej festival

Bahraich Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Srivastava conducted a comprehensive inspection of security and traffic arrangements along the route from Saryu Ghat (Bhaggadwa Bazaar) to Baba Bageshwar Nath Shivalaya Payagpur in view of the upcoming Kajri Teej festival.

The inspection took place today as part of preparations for the forthcoming Kajri Teej festival. Bahraich Superintendent of Police Vishwajeet Srivastava first inspected Saryu Ghat located in Bhaggadwa Bazaar, and subsequently traveled along the entire route leading to Baba Bageshwar Nath Shivalaya in Payagpur, reviewing security and traffic arrangements at multiple points. Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Ayush Vikram Singh, Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Durga Prasad Tiwari, and the concerned station house officers accompanied him during the inspection.

The Superintendent of Police examined the ghat and its surrounding areas as well as the complete route from Saryu Ghat to Baba Bageshwar Nath Shivalaya Payagpur, reviewing the arrangements being put in place in anticipation of the expected crowds of devotees and kanwariyas. During the inspection, necessary directions were issued to the concerned officers regarding barricading at the ghat, deployment of adequate police force, traffic management and diversion plans, parking arrangements, and security measures along the route.

The Superintendent of Police also issued instructions for surveillance through CCTV cameras at crowded locations, monitoring via drone cameras as required, and maintaining special vigilance at sensitive points. Vishwajeet Srivastava directed police personnel deployed on duty to ensure the safety and smooth movement of devotees and to remain alert to handle any emergency situation that may arise during the festival.
