Aligarh Police Arrest Second Accused In Property Dealer Firing Case

Police in Aligarh have arrested one more accused in the firing case involving property dealer Shiva alias Satendra in Jalalpur under the Rorawar police station area and sent him to jail.

The arrested accused has been identified as Harendra Raj alias Raja, son of Shivkumar, a resident of Bahadurgarhi under Akrabad police station. Police had earlier arrested another accused, Kapil, in the same case and sent him to jail. Action is still underway to trace and arrest the other accused allegedly involved in the incident.

The firing took place on the night of September 22 in Jalalpur, Rorawar. According to police, attackers travelling in a red car opened fire at property dealer Shiva alias Satendra while he was walking outside his house. The bullet hit him in the waist.

After the firing, his family members rushed him to JN Medical College in serious condition. Doctors gave him primary treatment and then referred him. The family then took him to a private hospital in Noida. There, doctors performed an operation and removed the bullet. After treatment, Shiva was discharged from the hospital.

A case was registered in connection with the incident on the basis of a complaint given by Shiva’s father. Police formed three teams to solve the case and arrest the accused. Help is also being taken from the SOG and the surveillance team.

According to police, on Wednesday the Rorawar police team arrested the wanted accused Harendra Raj alias Raja from the Rorawar police station area and sent him to jail. Police said further action is continuing against the remaining accused linked to the case.

The Rorawar police’s promptness and action in the case are being appreciated across the district. The case had drawn attention in the area because the firing took place outside the victim’s house and the attackers had arrived in a red car. Police have already made two arrests so far, including Kapil earlier and Harendra Raj alias Raja now.
