The bizarre sequence of events began after Sheila Devi, a resident of Srinagar Colony, was admitted to a private hospital in Bareilly for liver-related complications. Her condition deteriorated on Tuesday, and doctors placed her on a ventilator. By early Wednesday morning, around 3 a.m., she was declared dead. Her son transported the body back to their Agra home in an ambulance, arriving around 7 p.m. Preparations for her last rites were underway, with relatives and neighbors gathering to pay their respects.

As the family prepared for the funeral, Sheila Devi's son-in-law arrived and bent down to touch her feet as a mark of respect. To everyone's astonishment, she began moving and grabbed his hand. She reportedly asked, "Why are you crying? I am alive, not dead." The stunned family quickly shifted her to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
