ADG Naveen Arora Inspects Vindhyachal Dham Fair Security

ADG Varanasi Zone Naveen Arora reached Vindhyachal Dham in Mirzapur to review security arrangements at the ongoing Navratri fair. During the visit, he looked at the arrangements, spoke to devotees and offered prayers to Maa Vindhyavasini.

As he got out of his vehicle, the commissioner, DM, SP and DIG present there came forward to receive him. Setting formality aside, the ADG hugged the officers and shook hands with a woman officer. His easy manner with junior officers drew attention from those present.

The ADG also spoke directly to devotees at the fair and asked whether they were facing any problems. During this, he picked up a small child and spoke to him affectionately.

ADG Naveen Arora then offered prayers at the Vindhyachal temple and sought the blessings of Maa Vindhyavasini.

After the prayers, he said the security arrangements here had already been put in place smoothly by the District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police and DIG. He said he did not need to give any additional instructions or suggestions about the arrangements.

The visit was not limited to a security inspection. Welcoming junior officers with a hug, listening to devotees and his affectionate gesture towards the child were noticed by those present at the fair.

A large number of devotees visit Vindhyachal Dham during Navratri. Police and administration are keeping a close watch on fair security, crowd management and facilities for devotees.
