Acharya Pramod Krishnam Claims Bomb, Rocket Launcher Threat; Alerts Police, Home Ministry

Acharya Pramod Krishnam, the Peethadheeshwar of Shri Kalki Dham in Sambhal, has claimed that he has received a threat to blow him up with a bomb and attack him with a rocket launcher. He made the disclosure during a press conference in Sambhal and said the threatening audio has been sent to the Uttar Pradesh Police, Punjab Police and the Union Home Ministry.

According to Acharya Pramod Krishnam, he had been receiving threatening calls from international and untraceable numbers. He said that two-three days ago, he received an audio message in which a threat was made to blow him up with a bomb and carry out an attack using a rocket launcher.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam said the person who issued the threat identified himself as Kulveer Singh Sidhu. He said the threatening audio and the related number have been forwarded to the Uttar Pradesh Police, the SSP of Sambhal, the Punjab Police and the Union Home Ministry.

He also said that a transcript of the audio has been provided to the authorities. Citing information he said he received from police officials, Acharya Pramod Krishnam described the person who allegedly issued the threat as being linked to Babbar Khalsa. However, official confirmation from the police on this claim is still awaited.

Speaking at the press conference, Acharya Pramod Krishnam said some forces want to divide the country and create separation between Hindus and Sikhs. He said Shri Kalki Dham has taken a pledge to install statues of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, Lord Mahavir and Lord Buddha.

He asserted that the statue of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj will be installed at Kalki Dham and that the construction work will not stop at any cost. He said the threat would not make him step back from his resolve.

Acharya Pramod Krishnam appealed to the Prime Minister, the Union Home Minister and the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for security and action. He said that if he is killed, the construction of Kalki Dham should not stop.

He also appealed to the Government of India to take the Kalki Dham Trust under its control. Repeating his stand, Acharya Pramod Krishnam said he would not back down from his pledge and that the idol of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj will be installed at Kalki Dham.
