Abhishek Jha takes charge as new Superintendent of Police in Gonda

Abhishek Jha assumed charge as the new Superintendent of Police of Gonda on Sunday, marking the beginning of his tenure in the district. The officer, transferred from Bijnor, was received with full ceremonial honors as police personnel presented him with a guard of honor upon his arrival at the Circuit House.

Following the formal reception, Jha proceeded directly to the SP office where he officially took charge of his new posting. In his first official act, the new SP convened a meeting with senior officers of the district police to review the law and order situation and ongoing operations. The meeting is understood to have covered key challenges facing the district and operational priorities for the coming weeks.
