250 Patients Treated At Lalganj Ayurveda Camp On National Ayurveda Day

A free Ayurveda health check-up and medical camp was organised in Lalganj, Rae Bareli, on the occasion of National Ayurveda Day, where about 250 and more patients were examined, advised and treated.

The camp was held on Wednesday, 23 September, at Govind Hall, Baiswara Inter College, Lalganj. It was organised by Pranvaidya Hospital as a free Ayurveda health examination and treatment camp for local residents and patients in need of medical consultation.

At the camp, senior Ayurveda physician Vaidya Ramashankar Tiwari, Dr. Ashish Tiwari and Dr. Shridhar Kalyanmath, a well-known Ayurveda physician from South India, examined the patients and provided necessary medical advice and treatment.

Primary health checks were also carried out during the camp. These included blood pressure testing, random blood sugar (RBS) testing and BMI assessment. Along with the check-ups, patients were given information about Ayurvedic treatment, diet and daily lifestyle practices linked to better health.

Free Ayurvedic medicines were also distributed to needy patients at the camp. The organisers said the aim of the initiative was to spread awareness about Ayurveda and make people more alert about their health.

The organisers also said that Ayurveda is not limited only to the treatment of diseases, but also shows the way to adopt a healthy and balanced lifestyle.

Vandana, Satyam, Prinshu and Anupam, along with other members of the team, played a special role in the organisation and arrangements of the camp.
