14 Candidates Win Rajya Sabha Elections Unopposed: BJP Secures 10 Seats, Congress 4

Voting for 12 remaining seats will take place on June 18 across Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu. BJP is expected to win 8 seats, Congress 1, JMM 2, and TVK 1.

The Rajya Sabha currently has 244 members, with NDA holding 149 seats, opposition parties 78, and regional non-aligned parties 17. Upcoming by-elections in Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu may result in changes to seat distribution.
