11-Year-Old Boy Bitten By Snake While Collecting Paddy In Hathras

An 11-year-old boy was bitten by a snake while collecting paddy in a field in Chandaiya village under the Sasni Kotwali area of Hathras. The child was taken to the Hathras district hospital, where doctors started his treatment and are keeping him under observation. His condition is currently reported to be stable.

According to the information available, Prince, a resident of Chandaiya village and the son of Rajkumar, had gone to the field with his father to collect paddy at around 4 p.m. on Wednesday evening. During the work, a snake hiding in the field bit him on the leg.

As soon as the snake bit him, Prince raised an alarm. His father acted without delay and took him to the district hospital in Hathras for treatment. After he reached the hospital on time, doctors began treating him and continued to monitor his condition.

During the incident, Prince’s uncle Kuldeep, who was present at the spot, caught the snake and placed it inside a plastic bottle. After some time, the snake died because there was not enough air inside the bottle.

The family brought the snake to the hospital after keeping it inside the bottle so that the doctors could get information about the incident. The snake’s presence in the bottle also allowed the medical team to know what had happened when the child was brought in for treatment.

The incident caused panic among the family members immediately after the child was bitten. After Prince was admitted to the district hospital, his treatment continued under the supervision of doctors. His condition is currently being described as stable.

The incident has also become a topic of discussion in Chandaiya village. Friends and villagers have been discussing the snakebite after learning that the child was bitten while he was working with his father in the field.
