10-Year-Old Girl Allegedly Raped, Police Launch Probe In Bhinga

Police have begun an investigation after a suspected case of rape involving a 10-year-old girl was reported from a village in the Kotwali Bhinga area.

The matter came to light on Tuesday in a village under Kotwali Bhinga. As soon as information about the incident was received, a police team reached the spot and started looking into the case.

According to the information available, the girl had gone towards the forest outside the village to defecate at around 12 noon on Tuesday. When she did not return home for a long time, her family members started searching for her.

During the search, the girl was seen returning from the direction of the forest. Family members said there were blood stains on her clothes. After this, they expressed suspicion of an incident and informed the police.

After receiving the information, the police team reached the spot. The girl was sent for treatment to the Joint District Hospital, Bhinga, with the help of an ambulance.

At the hospital, her medical examination is being conducted. According to doctors, her condition is said to be normal.

Police said the investigation into the case has been started. Evidence related to the incident is being collected. Further action will be taken on the basis of the girl’s statement and the medical report.

Since the matter is linked to a minor, police have begun the investigation while maintaining confidentiality in the case. The case remains under inquiry, and police are proceeding on the basis of the information given by the family, the medical examination, and other evidence being gathered.
