Airforce Plane Crash: Martyrs Danish Alam and Shubham Kumar Laid to

Danish Alam from Bhojpur and Shubham Kumar from Jehanabad were martyred in the Airforce plane crash at Jorhat Airbase in Assam. Danish, an Agniveer, was laid to rest on Sunday. Before the burial, his father paid an emotional tribute, while his mother requested to see her son one last time. Villagers gathered and chanted slogans in his honor, saying, 'Shaheed Danish Amar Rahe.'

Shubham Kumar's mortal remains were brought to his ancestral village, where preparations were made for his funeral with state honors. Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi attended the ceremony. Shubham's mother, Poonam Devi, shared that he had called her via video on Saturday morning, saying, 'Mummy, we are going on a mission. Please take care of yourself.' She expressed her grief, stating that if she had known it was his last departure, she would not have let him go. Shubham's grandmother's passing had delayed his wedding, which was planned for after Holi.

Shubham's grandfather held the government responsible for his death, while the villagers mourned the loss of both martyrs.
