Tirupati’s Ratan Tata Innovation Hub Opens Idea Lab, Studio Room for Startups Tirupati’s Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) has inaugurated an Idea Lab and a Studio Room to encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
The launch event took place on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the RTIH premises, with Tirupati District Collector S. Venkateswar and Revenue Divisional Officer (Srikalahasti) Bhanuprakash Reddy presiding over the ceremony. During the event, Mr.
Venkateswar engaged with startups supported by RTIH and reviewed diverse technologies spanning healthcare, infrastructure, and other sectors.
Among the innovations showcased were "Squint Sense," an AI-powered portable device for diagnosing strabismus; an AI-based hand rehabilitation glove designed for post-stroke and neuro-rehabilitation therapy; "Infra Robot," a robotic solution for underground drainage monitoring and cleaning; and "UniHub," a development platform aimed at simplifying and accelerating hardware innovation.
In a discussion with Venkata Kamesh, the resource person leading RTIH’s drone bootcamp, the Collector encouraged participants to leverage emerging technologies, such as drones, to address real-world challenges.
RTIH CEO Vijayawanth Mathur highlighted the Idea Lab’s role in supporting ideation, design thinking, innovation, and prototype development for students and startups.
He added that the Studio Room would serve as a platform for podcast production, startup interviews, founder stories, and digital content creation. RTIH incubation head D.
