SBI PO Recruitment 2026: 1500 Vacancies Announced, Annual Salary Up to ₹21.79 Lakh The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the notification for its 2026 recruitment drive to hire Probationary Officers (PO).
A total of 1,500 vacancies have been announced under advertisement number CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. The application process commenced on June 18, 2026, and will remain open until July 8, 2026. Eligible candidates can apply online through SBI’s official website.
Vacancy Details The 1,500 positions include both regular and backlog vacancies.
The distribution of seats is as follows: - General (UR): 588 - Other Backward Classes (OBC): 390 - Scheduled Castes (SC): 234 - Scheduled Tribes (ST): 144 - Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 144 Additionally, 54 positions are reserved for backlog vacancies.
Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university. Final-year students are also eligible to apply, provided they can furnish proof of graduation during the interview process.
Chartered Accountants (CA) are eligible as well. Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) candidates must ensure their degree completion date aligns with the notification’s requirements. Age Limit: Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of April 1, 2026.
