PM to visit France, Slovakia, and G7 Summit from June 13-18

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to embark on a significant visit to France and Slovakia from June 13 to 18, 2026, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron and Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

The visit includes key engagements in Nice, Bratislava, Evian, and Paris, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and global partnerships.

In France, PM Modi will meet President Macron in Nice to review progress on the Special Global Strategic Partnership established earlier this year.

He will also inaugurate 'Bharat Innovates' on June 14, a major event connecting Indian start-ups with global investors under the India-France Year of Innovation.

The Slovak leg of the visit marks the first-ever trip by an Indian Prime Minister to Slovakia since its independence in 1993.

Discussions with Slovak leaders, including President Pellegrini and PM Fico, aim to enhance bilateral relations and deepen ties within the India-EU framework. PM Modi will also interact with Slovak business leaders during his stay in Bratislava.

On June 16-17, PM Modi will participate in the G7 Summit in Evian, representing India and voicing the aspirations of the Global South. This marks India’s eighth consecutive invitation to the summit, underscoring its growing global stature.
