Google Launches Wear OS 7 for Pixel Watch with Major Upgrades

Google Rolls Out Wear OS 7 for Pixel Watch with Gemini AI, Redesigned Widgets, and Battery Upgrades Google has officially started the rollout of Wear OS 7 for its Pixel Watch lineup, marking one of the most significant updates to its smartwatch platform.

The update introduces a revamped user interface, deeper integration with the Gemini AI platform, enhanced widget functionality, and improved battery life, all aimed at making the Pixel Watch smarter and more efficient for daily use.

Currently, Wear OS 7 is being made available for the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and Pixel Watch 4, with a gradual expansion planned over the coming days.

However, the original Pixel Watch will not be receiving this update, making it the first major platform upgrade to bypass Google’s first-generation smartwatch.

One of the standout features of Wear OS 7 is its redesigned interface, which replaces the traditional full-screen tiles with a new widget-based system.

This design, inspired by the widget experience on Android smartphones, allows users to access information more efficiently while offering enhanced customization options. Additionally, the update introduces live notifications, enabling real-time updates directly on the watch face.

Similar to Android’s Live Updates feature, the live notifications feature lets users track ongoing activities and updates without needing to repeatedly open apps.
