Union Minister for MSME Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi and Bihar Chief Minister Shri Samrat Choudhary will jointly lay the foundation stone of a new Technology Centre in Khizarsarai, Gaya, Bihar on June 15, 2026. The Rs.
170 crore facility aims to boost MSME growth in southern Bihar and the Magadh region. The Technology Centre will be developed on a 20-acre plot provided by the Bihar government, with a built-up area of approximately 16,800 square metres.
It will include production, training, administrative blocks, a multipurpose hall, hostel, and staff accommodation. The focus sectors will be general engineering, heavy engineering, and textile testing.
The Centre will provide advanced manufacturing technologies, workforce training, and business advisory services to MSMEs in Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Nalanda, Jehanabad, and Munger districts.
It is expected to train 7,000 trainees annually and support over 1,000 MSMEs with tooling and job work. Key services include CNC machining, CAD/CAM/CAE facilities, rapid prototyping, Industry 4.0 labs, and renewable energy solutions.
Industry-relevant programs in AI, IoT, data analytics, and automation will also be offered, aligning with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
