Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh has rewritten his own record.
The North American leg of his Aura World Tour has closed with more than 225,000 tickets sold and over $32 million grossed across 15 shows, surpassing his 2024 Dil-Luminati Tour, which had grossed $27 million and stood as the highest-grossing North American tour by a Punjabi
artist. Promoted by Live Nation, the leg opened on April 23 with a stadium show at BC Place in Vancouver and travelled through major markets including Dallas, Toronto and New York City before concluding with two sold-out nights at San Francisco's Chase Center this past weekend.
Among the run's biggest milestones were two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, making Diljit the first South Asian artist to sell out two dates at the iconic New York venue.
The tour's strength was clear from the start: at its initial onsale, Aura delivered the largest North American presale for a South Asian artist in Live Nation history, moving more than 130,000 tickets in its first two days.
The Aura World Tour first launched last year with sold-out stadium dates in Sydney and Melbourne, drawing more than 90,000 fans and making Diljit the first Punjabi artist to headline and sell out stadiums across Australia.
The momentum carries into this fall, when he is set to become the first South Asian artist to headline Wembley Stadium in London, with a show scheduled for September 12, 2026. The milestones add to a landmark stretch for the artist.
