NEET UG Re-Exam: Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan Reviews Preparations in High-Level Meeting Ahead of the NEET UG re-examination scheduled for June 21, a high-level meeting was convened to ensure smooth and secure conduct of the exam.

The meeting was chaired by Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who reviewed the preparations in detail. Senior officials from the Ministry of Education, state governments, the National Testing Agency (NTA), and higher education institutions participated in the meeting.

The discussions focused on maintaining transparency, integrity, and fairness in the examination process. Minister Pradhan directed all officials to remain vigilant and take all necessary steps to ensure the re-exam is conducted in an impartial and stress-free manner for students.

To oversee the process, ministry-appointed officials will monitor activities across states and report to a command center led by the NTA Director-General.

The Minister also instructed state government nodal officers to provide all essential facilities to students, ensuring a stress-free environment during the exam.

Key attendees at the meeting included Sanjay Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy; Vineet Joshi, Secretary of the Department of Higher Education; and Abhishek Singh, Director-General of the NTA.

Sanjay Kumar emphasized the importance of providing proper seating arrangements, drinking water, and other necessary facilities at exam centers. He urged state nodal officers to take proactive measures for smooth exam conduct.
