An intensive raid and inspection drive is underway at seed and agricultural medicine shops in Amethi, led by District Agriculture Officer Devendra Singh.
The action is being carried out jointly by the Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Amethi, and the District Agriculture Officer, creating alarm among shopkeepers. Samples are being collected to check the quality of seeds and agricultural medicines.
Officials are also conducting a detailed examination of shop records, including stock registers and other documents. During the inspections, samples of seeds and medicines are being sealed and collected for testing.
The raid operation is being conducted simultaneously across all four tehsils of the district. The investigation campaign has been launched with the objective of ensuring that farmers receive quality seeds and agricultural medicines.
The action is being conducted under the leadership of District Agriculture Officer Devendra Singh. The actual quality of the products will become clear after the investigation.
