In a shocking incident in Delhi's upscale Kailash Hills area, a 54-year-old dentist allegedly killed his house help, purportedly driven by fears of 'black magic.' The accused, Dr. Manish Gupta, was arrested on Tuesday morning after the gruesome crime came to light, according to police officials. Dr. Gupta runs a dental clinic near his residence in Mount Kailash.

The incident was reported to the Amar Colony police station at 11:30 am by a neighbor, who alerted authorities about a blood-soaked body found on the rooftop of a nearby building. By 11:36 am, the police had received specific information about the murder of a woman near Dr. Gupta’s house.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Dr. Gupta squatting near the victim's body. He allegedly confessed to assaulting her with a bat and later stabbing her with a knife. The deceased was identified as Meena, who had been working as his house help for the past 10 years.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Dr. Gupta suspected Meena of practicing 'black magic' on him and attempting to steal from him, which he believed had caused problems in his life. The police are currently verifying his statements and investigating the exact motive behind the crime.
