CJP Criticises CBSE Transfers, Plans Protest in Delhi

The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) conducted its inaugural press conference in Delhi on Wednesday, where three spokespersons presented their demands to the public. The party reiterated its call for Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and expressed readiness to engage in discussions with both the government and opposition.

CJP spokesperson Saurav Das criticized the recent transfers of CBSE Chairman Rahul Singh and Secretary Himanshu Gupta, describing them as superficial measures. He emphasized the need for accountability in the education system, stating that transfers alone would not resolve systemic issues.

Abhijit Deepak, the founder of CJP, is expected to arrive in Delhi from the United States on June 6. Following his arrival, he plans to visit the Parliament Street Police Station to seek permission for a protest at Jantar Mantar. The party has urged youth across the country to join the movement, which they claim reflects growing dissatisfaction among young people with the education system and political governance. Environmental activist Sonam Wangchuk may also participate in the protest, according to the party.

CJP, a social media-based platform, gained prominence after a recent remark by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant. The platform, founded by Abhijit Deepak, has over 20 million followers on Instagram. Deepak, a 30-year-old digital media strategist from Maharashtra, is currently pursuing a master's degree in public relations at Boston University in the United States.
